Game Design is all about playing with your player. I focus on building and controlling expectations while embedding a vibe and narrative. My goal is to become a full-stack developer so that I can create and collaborate with ultimate freedom. I am also very interested in submitting my game theories to companies abroad. Design and Theory are my strongest assets. Watch gameplay videos below or play one of my games here.
Prop Design requires a great attention to detail and reverse engineering. hen designing and building props, I try my best to approach projects with as much realism as possible. Components of a prop should be logical, and in my view, should pursue utility. I enjoy researching manufacturing processes behind products and vehicles, and including my research into my design and build process.
Within Vehicle Design I believe it is important to envision a personality or even a character as part of the process. Cars, trains, and airplanes have somewhat of an identity when we look at them. Therefore I believe it is important to include that personable feeling, while designing. Having a clear vision of the pilot, brings life to a vehicle.
Creature Design stems from the beauty of the natural world. I have always carried a great admiration for animals and evolution. Playing with the logic of evolution leads to designs with gravity. We can learn so much from studying animal anatomy. Because of the slight familiarity of the organic shapes and forms found on animals, the very concept of form and it’s mechanical logic, reveals itself to us much more naturally.
It is said that Architecture houses all of the tenants of Art. Aesthetic and function meet squarely in the middle, and in the process of designing we are informed by history and its motifs. Architecture is about expressing empathy to people and your environment. The overall movement of people and their sensibilities are to be respected and addressed. Shaping the spatial reality for a person is an existentially grand task, a challenge that I happily take on.
Designing an interior for a client is like offering a “feng shui” machine. Considering that a person prefers to conduct their life efficiently, aesthetics and walkways must be at balance and flow. Where a client spends the majority of their time should be pinnacle to the thought process. Designing for entertainment, however, places the focus into establishing a narrative or goal. We should be intentional when shifting the attention of the video game player or the eye of the movie/show viewer, to what we want them to see or do. Our customer does not live in the world we describe to them, instead they are interpreting the point of it all.
